Fountain Hills Physical Therapy is Hiring a Physical Therapy Technician Near Fountain, AZ

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to help us keep our patients in optimal health. The Physical Therapy Aide will be responsible for administering therapeutics, like massages and electrical stimulation, under the supervision of licensed therapists. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play an important role in helping us rehabilitate our patients, who suffer from various injuries and conditions. Your duties will include providing services that enhance our patient’s wellbeing. We expect you to be honest, reliable and show concern for your patients. Ultimately, you should make sure that our patients get the treatment they need to ensure a faster recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of treatment to patients by following the therapist’s instructions and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Maintain health records and prepare treatment records.
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of appropriate materials, supplies and equipment needed for treatment.
  • Communicate with hospital personnel, physicians and other health care providers as needed in a professional manner.
  • Assist in treatment including: hydration, range of motion, exercise, stabilization and traction in accordance with physician’s orders or as directed by the PT.
  • Follow aseptic techniques when assisting the therapist.
  • Perform general clerical duties as requested or required including simple accounting procedures like filing and data entry.
  • Demonstrate compassion and patience while dealing with patients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
